Coach Dorian

Dorian Samo combines high-level playing experience with an advanced understanding of the mental side of the game, making him a well-rounded and impactful coach at Soccer Genome. His playing career includes time with Charlotte Independence and Wake FC in USL League Two, as well as collegiate competition at Belmont Abbey College and Gardner-Webb University. Off the field, Dorian holds a B.S. in Psychology and a Master’s in Sport Psychology, giving him unique insight into the mindset, motivation, and mental resilience required to succeed. His coaching blends technical precision with a focus on mental performance, helping players develop both the skills and mindset to thrive in competition and in life.
